Abstract
ABSTRAK
Skripsi ini membahas mengenai peranan Perpustakaan Khusus Kementerian Badan Usaha Milik Negara BUMN sebagai Pusat Informasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus dan pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa peranan perpustakaan khusus Kementerian Badan Usaha Milik Negara BUMN sebagai pusat informasi dilakukan melalui layanan-layanan yang diberikan untuk penggunanya. Namun layanan-layanan tersebut belum berjalan dengan baik. Sebab terdapat masalah dalam melakukan implementasi peranan perpustakaan khusus Kementerian Badan Usaha Milik Negara BUMN seperti kinerja pustakawan yang belum maksimal, kebutuhan informasi yang banyak dan kekurangan pegawai sehingga implementasi dalam bentuk layanan-layanan perpustakaan belum bias berjalan dengan baik.
ABSTRACT
This thesis discusses the role of Special Libraries Ministry of State Owned Enterprises SOEs Information Center. This research is a qualitative research by using method case studies and data collection in this research by interview and observations. The results showed that the role of special libraries Ministry of State Owned Enterprises SOEs as a center for information made through the services provided to users. However, these services have not been going well. Because there are problems in implementing the role of special libraries Ministry of State Owned Enterprises SOEs as librarian performance has not been up, needs a lot of information and a shortage of staff so that the implementation in the form of library service not able to meet the information needs of users.
