ABSTRAK<>br>Perseteruan antar kelompok suporter sepak bola seringkali terjadi di dunia nyata bahkan dengan adanya kemajuan teknologi komunikasi sudah mulai merambah ke media sosial. Cara-cara kekerasan yang ditempuh dalam mengatasi perseteruan ini mengakibatkan bergesernya perseteruan dari kekerasan fisik yang terjadi di dunia nyata menjadi kekerasan verbal dan ujaran kebencian yang marak di media sosial. Namun, pemanfaatan media sosial dapat diibaratkan seperti dua buah mata pisau, yaitu dapat berbentuk positif maupun negatif. Dengan memanfaatkan media sosial secara positif, penulis beranggapan bahwa perdamaian antar kelompok suporter sepak bola dapat diciptakan. Karakteristik media sosial, yang mampu menyebarkan infomasi secara luas dan cepat, dapat menjadi alternatif untuk mengatasi terjadinya perseteruan antar kelompok suporter sepak bola. Penelitian-penelitian terdahulu menjelaskan bahwa penggunaan peacemaking criminology identik dengan sistem peradilan pidana. Selain itu, penggunaan peacemaking criminology dapat berpengaruh pada penyelesaian konflik. Lebih spesifik, penulis akan menggabungkan pemanfaatan media sosial secara positif dengan peacemaking pyramid paradigm yang dicetuskan oleh John Fuller. ABSTRACT<>br>The clash between football team supporters happens in the real situation. Moreover, with the development of communication technology, the clash starts to happen on the social media. Supporters often express their loyalty by doing violence to other team supporters, especially physical violence. Nowadays, the physical violence in the real situation has turned into verbal violence and hate speech through social media. Those are the negative side of using social media for football team supporters. On the other hand, social media could give positive benefit as well, by taking advantage of its role in facilitating peace. Disseminating informations quickly and broadly is the character of social media that could be an alternative option of solution to the clash between football team supporters. Former researchers have explained that benefiting peacemaking criminology could possibly affect the resolution of the conflict in the clash. More Specifically, author would combine the advantage of benefiting both social media positively and peacemaking pyramid paradigm which thought by John Fuller. |
