ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan terkenalnya etos kerja keras yang dimiliki oleh orang Korea dalam bekerja di sebuah perusahaan. Korea merupakan negara ke-3 di dunia dengan tingkat kerja keras tertinggi. Etos kerja keras yang diterapkan oleh Lotte tentunya juga mempengaruhi karyawan Indonesia yang bekerja di sana. Secara umum, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk budaya kerja keras yang terdapat di Lotte dan pengaruhnya terhadap karyawan indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe penelitian deskritif kualitatif. Fokus penelitian ini adalah pada budaya kerja keras dan pengaruh budaya kerja keras itu sendiri. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah wawancara dan studi pustaka. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa etos kerja keras Korea itu sendiri membawa pengaruh terhadap karyawan Indonesia yang bekerja di Lotte Mart. Pengaruh tersebut terbagi menjadi dua, yaitu pengaruh positif dan pengaruh negatif.
ABSTRACT
The background of this research is the acknowledgement of Korean hardworking ethic while work in a company. Korea is in the 3rd place of the highest level of hard work in the world. Hardwork ethic that applied by Lotte Indonesia would also affect Indonesian employees who work there. In general, this study aims to describe the cultural forms contained in the hard work and its influence towards Indonesian employees in Lotte company. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The research will be focused on the culture of hard work and the cultural influence of the hard work itself. Data collection instruments are interviews and literature. The data analysis in this study will be conducted qualitatively. The results of this study explains that the hardwork ethic in Korea itself had an impact towards Indonesian employee who works at Lotte Mart. The effect is divided by two, positive and negative influences. |
