Abstract
ABSTRAK
Tugas Karya Akhir ini membahas proses-proses keberhasilan suatu Agenda Setting di Washington D.C. mengenai Legalisasi Mariyuana untuk keperluan rekreasional pada tahun 2015. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang meloloskan Agenda Setting Initiative 71 di Washington D.C. Faktor-faktor tersebut adalah peran dari kelompok kepentingan DCMJ , pemerintah, dan masyarakat. Tugas akhir ini berupaya menjelaskan bagaimana proses legalisasi Mariyuana di suatu negara bagian walaupun bertolak belakang dengan hukum yang ada di Amerika Serikat. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan adanya faktor-faktor dan aktor yang meloloskan Agenda Setting di Washington D.C. dengan studi kasus legalisasi Mariyuana untuk keperluan rekreasional, bisa diloloskan untuk masuk ke pemungutan suara secara langsung pada tahun 2015.
ABSTRACT
This thesis aims to discuss the process of successing the Agenda Setting in Washington D.C. regarding the legalization of Mariyuana spesifically for recreational purposes in the year of 2015. There were several factors that help to passed the Agenda Setting Initiative 71 in Washington D.C. Those factors were the role from pressure group DCMJ, government and civils. This thesis seeks to explain the process on legalizing Mariyuana in a state eventhough it rsquo s contrary to the law that applies in the United States of America. The result of this study explains how the factors have helped to pass the Agenda Setting regarding the legalization of Mariyuana in Washington D.C. and made it able to continue the next process directly which is the ballot initiative that also being held in 2015.
