ABSTRACT<>br>Arab poetry has been known since the days of jahiliyah. Not many names of the poet came from the gulf region. Abdul Kariim Ma 39 tuuq is a modern Arabic poet from the United Arab Emirates and also the winner of prince of poets in 2007 in Abu Dhabi. The purpose of this study is to find the structural elements and lsquo ilmu balaagat which adorn the poetry fii olaati 39 al iid or in 39 id prayer. This journal uses a structural approach that focuses on the elements of enjambement, punctuation, themes, and rhymes. Beside, the lsquo ilmu balaagat includes elements of lsquo ilmu ma 39 aani, lsquo ilmu badii rsquo , and lsquo ilmu bayaan. After analyzed the structural approach, the author found some of the enjambement, punctuations, and rhymes in this poem. In addition the theme is determined by the isotope theory and the theme of this poem is religious poetry. For the element of lsquo ilmu balaagat author find that, lsquo ilmu ma rsquo aani is more dominant than other elements of balaagat, and the author concluded this poetry as a diaphaan poetry. Kariim wailed in grief in the day of 39 id prayer and he wailed about the Islamic countries bowing their forehead to America and he invites muslims to return to Allah on a holy day for muslim in lsquo id fitri. |
