Berserk adalah adaptasi Macbeth yang dalam beberapa hal berbeda dari Macbeth orisinil karena ia mengadaptasi 5 babak drama Macbeth menjadi sesuatu yang lebih panjang. Kesuksesan Throne of Blood sebagai adaptasi Macbeth mendorong orang-orang di Asia Timur untuk membuat adaptasi Macbeth mereka sendiri. Kentaro Miura memutuskan untuk membuat manga dari Macbeth Shakespeare. Bagaimana tragedi Shakespeare Macbeth diadaptasi ke dalam komik jepang/manga? Lebih penting, apakah manga itu mengikuti ciri-ciri tragic heroes Shakespeare atau tragic heroes Jepang? Atau apakah menggabungkan keduanya? Esai ini memeriksa Berserk sebagai adaptasi Macbeth dan membahas dorongan etnografi mereka.

Berserk is a Macbeth rsquo s adaptation that in some ways is different from the original Macbeth as it adapts the original five acts into something longer. Throne of Blood 39 s success as Macbeth rsquo s adaptation encourages people in East Asia to make Macbeth rsquo s adaptation of their own. Kentaro Miura decided to make a manga out of Shakespeare rsquo s Macbeth. How is a Shakespearean tragedy Macbeth adapted into a Japanese comic manga More importantly, does it follow Shakespeare rsquo s tragic heroes or Japanese tragic heroes rsquo characteristics regarding the two main characters Or does it incorporate both This essay examines Berserk as Macbeth rsquo s adaptation and addresses their ethnographic impulses.
