Abstrak
This book contains twenty chapters on theoretical issues in research on future-oriented mental time travel. Themes covered include varieties of future-oriented cognition; relationships between future-oriented mental time travel and episodic memory; subjective temporality in future-oriented mental time travel; the self in future-oriented mental time travel; functional perspectives; evolutionary and comparative perspectives; developmental perspectives; and clinical perspectives. Chapters are by researchers based in both empirical and theoretical disciplines.
