| This change in the communication paradigma has brought some consequences, e.g. the change of the communication pattern. The decision making process is in the bottom up pattern which pays attention to the people's voice as the basic of every policy. The establishment of a broadcasting agtency, especially community radio as an alternative, can increase the flow of information, as a means for social interactions and fulfilling the political aspiration. Radio Komunitas Angkringan in the villages of Timbulharjo, Sewon and Bantul which has been established for 6 years is interesting to study. The existence of the broadcasting agency is hoped to be able to enhance the development of democracy, strengthen the civil society and as a means for aspiration. |
