Abstrak
ABSTRAK
Rendahnya pemberian ASI eksklusif dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor salah satunya adalah faktor sosial ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pemberian ASI eksklusif pada masyarakat sosial ekonomi rendah yang merupakan penerima Program Keluarga Harapan di Kota Cilegon. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu survey penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional dan analisis data univariat. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 109 ibu yang memiliki anak 6-24 bulan. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan mayoritas masyarakat sosial ekonomi rendah penerima Program Keluarga Harapan tidak memberikan ASI eksklusif sampai 6 bulan 84,4 dikarenakan berbagai alasan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi kepada pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam Program Keluarga Harapan dapat bekerja sama dengan Dinas Kesehatan Kota Cilegon ataupun pelayanan kesehatan setempat dalam melakukan promosi kesehatan untuk lebih meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya pemberian ASI eksklusif sampai 6 bulan.
ABSTRACT
The low level of exclusive breastfeeding can be influenced by various factors, one of them is the socio economic factor. This study aims to determine the description of exclusive breastfeeding in low socioeconomic communities who are beneficiaries of Program Keluarga Harapan in Kota Cilegon. The research design used is descriptive quantitative research survey with cross sectional approach and univariate data analysis. The number of respondents in this study were109 mothers who have children 6 24 months. The results of this study show that the majority of low socioeconomic communities who are beneficiaries of the Program Keluarga Harapan do not provide exclusive breastfeeding for up to 6 months 84.4 due to various reasons. This research provides recommendations to the parties involved in Program Keluarga Harapan to coordinate with Cilegon City Health Office or local health care provider in providing health promotion to raise awareness of the importance of exclusive breastfeeding for up to 6 months.
