ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati bagaimana reaksi dari Bursa Efek Indonesia ketika terjadi peristiwa pemilihan gubernur DKI Jakarta tahun 2017 dengan menggunakan metode event study. Variabel yang akan di amati adalah signifikansi perbedaan tingkat abnormal return yang terjadi pada saham LQ45 di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode sebelum-saat,saat-setelah, dan sebelum-setelah peristiwa pengumuman quick count dan real count putaran kedua. Hasil dari penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan abnormal return signifikan pada periode sebelum-saat, dan saat-setelah peristiwa quick count dan real count. Sedangkan pada periode sebelum-setelah peristiwa quick count dan real count, tidak ditemukan perbedaan tingkat abnormal return yang signifikan. ABSTRACT This study aims to observe how the reaction of the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the event of the election of the governor of DKI Jakarta in 2017 by using the method of event study. The variables to be observed are the significance of the difference in abnormal return rates that occur in LQ45 stocks in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the before moment, moment after, and before after periods of quick count and second round count announcements. The results of the study revealed that there were significant abnormal return differences in the preceding period, and the moment after the quick count and real count events. While in the period before after the events of quick count and real count, found no significant difference in abnormal return rate. |
