ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses pengelolaan informasi pada layanan E-Paper di perpustakaan DPR RI serta mengidentifikasi masalah-masalah yang timbul pada saat proses pengelolaan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan analisis dokumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan audit informasi dari Susan Henczel sebagai metode penelitiannya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa layanan E-Paper di perpustakaan DPR RI sudah mencakup keenam komponen dalam alat manajemen yang terdiri dari man, money, materials, machines, methods, dan market. Man atau sumber daya manusia yang terdiri dari 2 jenis, yaitu sumber daya struktural berjumlah empat orang dan pustakawan fungsional berjumlah tiga belas orang yang dianggap sudah cukup untuk mengelolaa perpustakaan DPR RI. Money atau uang yang dikatakan memadai untuk menunjang sarana dan prasarana serta kebutuhan perpustakaan DPR RI untuk memaksimalkan layanannya. Materials atau bahan-bahan yang diperlukan tenaga kerja untuk mencapai tujuannya yang terdiri dari sumber informasi yang disediakan perpustakaan untuk pustakawan DPR RI untuk diolah menjadi E-Paper. Machines atau mesin berupa fasilitas yang disediakan perpustakaan kepada pustakawan yang terdiri dari komputer, alat pindai, mesin fotokopi, dan alat penunjang lainnya untuk mendukung dan memudahkan tenaga kerja dalam menciptakan efisiensi kerja. Methods atau cara yang digunakan organisasi untuk mencapai tujuan. Methods tersebut berupa alur informasi pada pengelolaan E-Paper serta komponen terakhir yaitu market atau target pasar yang terdiri dari tenaga ahli dan anggota DPR RI. Selain itu, saat proses analisis dan evaluasi data, peneliti menemukan bahwa secara tidak langsung perpustakaan sudah melakukan proses audit informasi pada tahap pertama menurut Henczel 2001 yaitu tahap perencanaan. Dalam hal ini, peneliti menggabungkan hasil kegiatan audit informasi yang dilakukan oleh peneliti sendiri dengan kegiatan audit yang secara tidak langsung sudah mereka lakukan.
ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the process of managing information on E Paper services in the library of the House of Representatives and to identify problems that arise during the management process. This research uses qualitative approach with case study method. Data collection is done by interview, observation and document analysis. This study uses information auditing from Susan Henczel as her research method. The results of this study indicate that the E Paper service in the House of Representatives library already includes the six components in the management tools consisting of man, money, materials, machines, methods, and markets. Man or human resources consisting of 2 types, namely structural resources amounted to four people and functional librarian amounted to thirteen people who are considered sufficient to manage the library DPR RI. Money or money that is said to be adequate to support facilities and infrastructure and library needs of the House of Representatives to maximize its services. Materials or materials needed by the workforce to achieve its objectives consisting of information sources provided by libraries for librarians of the House of Representatives to be processed into E Paper. Machines or machines of libraries provided to librarians consisting of computers, scanners, photocopiers, and other supporting tools to support and facilitate the workforce in creating work efficiency. Methods or ways the organization uses to achieve its goals. Methods are the flow of information on the management of E Paper and the last component of the market or target market consisting of experts and members of the House of Representatives. In addition, during the process of data analysis and evaluation, the researchers found that indirectly the library has done the information audit process in the first stage according to Henczel 2001 , namely the planning stage. In this case, the researchers combine the results of information audit activities conducted by researchers themselves with audit activities that they have indirectly done. |
