Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memelajari efek anestesia lokal yang ditimbulkan lingkungan tumesen melalui teknik tumesen one-per-mil. Empat komposisi dan volume larutan tumesen yang berbeda disuntikan pada 50 ekot mencit Swiss Webster. Kelompok intervensi dibagi berdasarkan jenis dan volume larutan tumesen yang disuntikan A, larutan tumesen dengan lidokain 0.2 ; B, larutan tumesen dengan lidokain 0.04 ; C, larutan tumesen tanpa lidokain; D, larutan tumesen tanpa lidokain dengan volume dua kali lipat; E, kontrol . Efek anestesi lokal pada telapak kaki dan ekor mencit dites menggunakan uji formalin n = 25 dan uji pencelupan ekor n=25 . Respon perilaku nyeri dalam bentuk menjilat telapak kaki dan waktu latensi penarikan ekor diobservasi.
