ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas konflik internal Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) yang berdampak pada proses pemilihan gubernur dan wakil gubernur Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah tahun 2015. Penelitian ini menjawab penyebab terjadinya konflik internal PPP dalam pencalonan gubernur dan wakil gubernur Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah tahun 2015, serta proses terjadinya dualisme dukungan dan dampaknya bagi penyelenggaraan pemilihan gubernur dan wakil gubernur Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah tahun 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori konflik yang dikemukakan oleh Rauf, Coser, Conn dan Dahrendorf. Serta teori Faksionalisasi yang dikemukakan oleh Belloni dan Paul G. Lewis. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa faktor penyebab terjadinya konflik internal PPP dalam proses pencalonan pemilihan gubernur dan wakil gubernur Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah tahun 2015 adalah karena adanya faksionalisasi di tingkat pusat serta adanya pertarungan elit baik di tingkat pusat maupun di tingkat lokal. Sedangkan terjadinya dualisme dukungan yang diberikan oleh PPP terjadi karena adanya pengalihan dukungan yang dilakukan oleh DPP PPP kepengurusan Djan Faridz yang semula mendukung Ujang Iskandar menjadi Sugianto-Habib Said Ismail. Dualisme dukungan tersebut berdampak pada aspek politik dan aspek sosial yang berakibat pada dianulirnya pasangan Ujang-Jawawi dan ditundanya Pilkada Kalimantan Tengah hingga Januari 2016. Implikasi teoritis dari penelitian ini adalah mengkonfirmasi teori konflik yang dikemukakan oleh Rauf, Conn, Coser, dan Dahrendorf yang menyatakan konflik yang terjadi karena adanya perebutan kekuasaan. Sementara itu, faksionalisasi yang terjadi bersifat sementara memperkuat teori faksionalisasi Paul G. Lewis. Penelitian ini juga memperkuat teori faksionalisasi yang diungkapkan oleh Belloni yang menyebutkan bahwa Faksionalisasi didasarkan pada adanya persamaan isu, adanya ikatan patron klien dan bersifat formal. ABSTRACT This research discusses about the internal conflicts of PPP that have an impact on local elections process of Central Kalimantan in 2015. Research questions in this research are why there is internal conflict of PPP in the process of nomination of governor and vice governor of Central Kalimantan Province in 2015, and how the process of dualism support of PPP in the nomination and what is the impact of dualism support of governor and vice governor of Central Kalimantan Province in 2015. This research use conflict theory by Rauf, Conn, Coser, and Dahrendorf. And factionalization theory by Belloni and Lewis. The results of the research show that the background of internal conflicts of PPP in the nomination process in the governor and vice governor election of Central Kalimantan Province in 2015 is due to the factionalization and the elite battle at the central and local level. While the dualism of support provided by the PPP began when PPP Djan Faridz's Faction initially support Ujang Iskandar, but on the last day of the registration process of the pair of candidates, PPP Faction of Djan Faridz divert their support to the Sugianto-Habib Said Ismail. Dualism support has an impact on the political aspect which resulted in the annulment of the Ujang-Jawawi and postponement of the Central Kalimantan local election in January 2016. The theoretical implication of this research aims to supports Rauf, Coser, Conn and Dahrendorf's conflict theory. That PPP internal conflict in the process of nomination governor and vice governor of Central Kalimantan Province 2015 tend to compete for the sake of power. Other theoretical implication of this study aims to support of Belloni and Lewis Factionalization theory, that factionalization at internal conflict of PPP at local election of Central Kalimantan is temporarily and based on the existence of equality of issues, the existence of patron-client and formal bonds. |
