ABSTRAK Ibu hamil usia remaja memiliki harapan yang rendah dalam menghadapipersalinan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antarachildbirth self-efficacy dengan childbirth expectancy pada ibu hamil usia remaja.Penelitian cross sectional ini menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling dengan135 responden ibu hamil usia remaja. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwaterdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara childbirth self-efficacy denganchildbirth expectancy (p=0,002). Ibu dengan childbirth self-efficacy siapberpeluang 3,7 kali mempunyai childbirth expectancy tinggi dibandingkan ibudengan childbirth self-efficacy kurang siap (OR=3,7; 95% CI 1,162-8,544).Penelitian ini merekomendasikan bahwa aspek kesehatan mental ibu hamil remajadalam mempersiapkan persalinan perlu lebih diperhatikan sehingga kesejahteraanibu hamil remaja dapat tercapai. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship betweenchildbirth self efficacy with childbirth expectancy in adolescent mother. Thiscross sectional research used a concecutive sampling technique with 135adolescent mother as respondent. The result showed that there is relationshipbetween childbirth self-efficacy and childbirth expectancy (p=0,002).Adolescent mothers with high childbirth self-efficacy had childbirth expectancy3,7 times higher than adolescent mothers with low childbirth self-efficacy(OR=3,7; 95% CI 1,162-8,544). This finding confirms that the mental healthstatus aspects in adolescent mothers facing labour and delivery need to beconsidered in order to achieve the wellness status for adolescent mothers. |
