ABSTRAK Angka fertilitas nasional di Indonesia yang stagnan di angka 2,6.di mana angka rata-rata negara ASEAN adalah 2,4 menjadi early warning tersendiri bagi Indonesia. Hasil Survei Demografi dan Kesehatan Indonesia sampai dengan Tahun 2012 memberi sinyal bahwa masalah kependudukan perlu mendapat perhatian yang lebih serius oleh pemerintah. Salah satunya dengan memperhatikan prevalensi pemakaian kontrasepsi di Indonesia. Prevalensi pemakaian kontrasepsi tergantung pada keputusan Pasangan Usia Subur apakah akan memakai kontrasepsi atau tidak dan kontrasepsi apa yang mereka pilih. Penelitian tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi utilisasi dari pemakaian dan pilihan kontrasepsi masih konvensional dan belum memasukkan isu peer effect sedangkan perilaku orang sangat mungkin dipengaruhi oleh orang lain. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh efek rekan dan tokoh sentral dalam suatu komunitas terhadap perilaku pemakaian kontrasepsi terutama dalam pemilihan kontrasepsi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Pendataan Keluarga 2015 dari BKKBN dan Podes 2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan model logit, order logit, dan multinomial logit. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa terdapat peer effect dalam perilaku kontrasepsi, artinya tidak hanya faktor demografis individu yang menjadi pengaruh dalam perilaku pemakaian kontrasepsi. Peranan tokoh sebagai node informasi mempunyai pengaruh terhadap perilaku pemakaian kontrasepsi dengan kadar yang berbeda, misal dalam hal pakai atau tidaknya seseorang memang benar-benar dipengaruhi oleh tokoh. Perbedaan geografis memberi perbedaan perilaku pemakaian kontrasepsi dilihat dari masing-masing pengaruh dari peer maupun tokoh sentral. Dalam pengujian dalam model multinomial logit diperoleh informasi pemakaian kontrasepsi dengan membandingkan kontrasepsi yang berbasis suntik dengan kontrasepsi lainnya menunjukkan pola yang bisa digunakan sebagai perumusan strategi. ABSTRACT The national fertility rate in Indonesia is stagnant at 2.6. Where the average number of ASEAN countries is 2.4 became an early warning for Indonesia. Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey results until 2012 signaled that demographic problems should receive more serious attention by the government. One of them with regard to the prevalence of contraceptive use in Indonesia. The prevalence of contraceptive use is dependent on the Fertile Age Couple 39 s decision whether to use contraception or not and what contraception they choose. Research on the factors affecting the utilization of contraceptive use and choice is still conventional and has not included the issue of peer effect whereas people 39 s behavior is likely to be influenced by others. This study aims to determine the effect of peers and central figures in a community on the behavior of contraceptive use, especially in the selection of contraception. The data source in this research uses 2015 Family Data Collection from BKKBN and Podes 2014. This research uses logit model, logit order, and multinomial logit. From the results of this study found that there is a peer effect in contraceptive behavior, meaning that not only individual demographic factors that influence the behavior of contraceptive use. The role of the character as an information node has an influence on the behavior of contraceptive use with different levels, for example in terms of whether or not someone 2is really influenced by the character. Geographical differences give differences in contraceptive use behavior seen from each influence of peer and central figure. In the test in multinomial logit model obtained contraceptive usage information by comparing contraception based on injection with other contraception show pattern which can be used as strategy formulation. |
