ABSTRAK Bisnis pariwisata merupakan salah satu sumber besar devisa negara Indonesia. Presiden Jokowi mengatakan bahwa Indonesia memerlukan Bali-Bali lainnya di daerah lain di Indonesia karena masih banyak daerah di indonesia yang berpotensi untuk menjadi tujuan pariwisata yang bagus, dimana Bali merupakan salah satu lokasi pariwisata di Indonesia yang paling diminati oleh wisatawan nusantara maupun mancanegara. Demi mencapai target tersebut maka diperlukan pembangunan pada sektor pariwisata untuk menciptakan lokasi-lokasi pariwisata baru. Sangat penting untuk mengikuti prinsip pembangunan berkelanjutan dalam melakukan pembangunan agar tidak merusak daerah tersebut dan ciri khas daerah yang menjadi lokasi pembangunan pariwisata tetap terjaga. Dalam melakukan pembangunan di lokasi yang berpotensi menjadi kawasan pariwisata, perlu adanya kerja sama dengan stakeholder dari lokasi tersebut. Maka penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis perbedaan persepsi dari pegawai hotel dan warga lokal Bali yang sudah banyak mengalami pembangunan pariwisata di kawasan tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pembagian kuisioner terhadap sampel 417 responden yang berdomisili di bali. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan T test. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah tidak adanya perbedaan pada faktor ekologi negatif, ekologi positif, ekonomi negatif, dan sosial positif. Namun terdapat perbedaan pada faktor ekonomi positif dan sosial negatif. ABSTRACT Tourism business is one of the major sources of foreign exchange in Indonesia. President Jokowi said that Indonesia needs other Bali Bali in other areas in Indonesia because there are still many areas in Indonesia that have the potential to become a good tourism destination, where Bali is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Indonesia. In order to achieve these targets it is necessary development in the tourism sector to create new tourism locations. It is important to follow the principle of sustainable development in the development so as not to damage the area and the characteristics of the area that the location of tourism development is maintained. In carrying out development in a location that has the potential to become a tourism area, it is necessary to cooperate with stakeholders from the location. So this research is done to analyze the difference of perception of hotel employee and Bali local people who have experienced many tourism development in the area. This research is a descriptive research. Methods of data collection is done through the distribution of questionnaires to a sample of 417 respondents who are domiciled in Bali. Hypothesis testing is done withusing T test. The results of this study are the absence of differences in negative ecological factors, positive ecology, negative economics, and social positive.
