Abstract
Artikel ini membahas tentang heroisme dalam film Les Femmes de L rsquo;Ombre yang diadaptasi dari kisah nyata tentang tokoh-tokoh perempuan yang ikut berperan dalam Perang Dunia II dengan tergabung dalam organisasi spionase Special Operations Executive SOE. Penelitian kualitatif ini dianalisis melalui aspek naratif dan sinematografis film dengan menggunakan teori Boggs dan Petrie 2011. Sementara itu, artikel ini menggunakan konsep heroisme oleh Taha 2002. Hasil analisis menentukan status hero pada tokoh-tokoh yang meliputi status hero, semi-hero dan anti-hero yang dilihat melalui motivasi, tekad, kemampuan, perjuangan serta keberhasilan tokoh dalam menyelesaikan misi utama.
......This article focuses on analyzing the heroism of female characters in a movie titled Les Femmes de L rsquo;Ombre by Jean Paul Salom which is based on true story. This movie depicts how women struggled against German durning World War II by joining espionage organization called Special Operations Executive SOE. This research is a qualitative research and analyzed through narrative and cinematrography aspect from Boggs and Petrie 2011. Meanwhile, the values of heroism in this movie is reviewed by using heroism concept by Taha 2002. The result of this research distinguishes the three conceptions of heroism, namely hero, semi-hero, and anti-hero as seen through each character rsquo;s motivation, will, ability, execution, and outcome.
