ABSTRACT
The research was meant to know the ability of must-report Institution (IPWL), Nazar Foundation In rehabilitating drug abuse victims. The research Is explorative using qualitative approach, location and respondent chosen purposively In Medan, North Sumatera Province. Data resources were IPWL ofticIaI. Data were gathered through Interview, observation, and analyzed through qualitative descriptive technique. The finding showed that the Institution, Nezar foundation, has been able to rehabilitate drug abuse 40 persons per year before receiving aId from the ministry of social affairs, then 60 people after receiving aid. The rehabilitation ability was supported by adequate facilities and rooms, human resources psychologist, addicted on counce or, human resource (social worker), and operational expenses. But, there was still Iimited In fund and management. It Is recommended to the Ministry of Social Affairs through Directorate of Drug Abuses PreventIon so that keep on giving aid and human resources. Local social agency should be Involved In rehabilitation drug abuse vIctIms at IPWL Nazar. Drug abuse rehabilitation institution pointed as IPWL should be more keenly on the reel condItIon of the clients as regulated. |
