ABSTRACT
Geografi kesehatan khususnya epidemiologi memliki tujuan untuk memahami proses suatu penyakit yang fokus pada keunikan suatu ruang dengan penekanan pada konsep lokasi, arah, jarak di suatu tempat dalam mewujudkan kesehatan yang baik. Tuberkulosis (TB) merupakan penyakit menular yang menyerang paru-paru yang masih menjadi penyebab utama morbiditas dan mortalitas di Indonesia, salah satunya di DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola sebaran dan karakteristik wilayah penderita penyakit tuberkulosis di Provinsi DKI Jakarta tahun 2017. Variabel dalam penelitian ini meliputi kepadatan bangunan, suhu udara, jarak dari sungai. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis spasial dengan teknik overlay dan analisis statistik inferensial. Persebaran penderita TB di DKI Jakarta berdasarkan jarak antar tempat tinggal penderita membentuk pola mengelompok dengan 1/3 penderitanya berjenis kelamin laki-laki, berumur produktif, berstatus gizi normal dan 2/3 wilayah penderitanya berada di daerah sekitar sungai. Secara spasial, terjadi keunikan bahwa penderita TB tidak hanya terjadi pada kepadatan bangunan tinggi, suhu udara tinggi, maupun daerah sekitar sungai. Hal ini didukung dengan hasil statistik yang menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada kaitan antara sebaran penderita TB dengan karakteristik wilayah. Sehingga parameter kualitas permukiman dapat menjelaskan karakteristik wilayah penderita TB, dimana wilayah penderita TB tidak memiliki keteraturan dalam tata letak bangunan, lebar jalan yang sempit, keberadaan pohon kurang memadai, dan dekat dengan jalan utama.
ABSTRACT
Health geography specifically epidemiology has a purpose of understanding the process of a disease that focuses on the uniqueness of space with an emphasis on the concept of location, direction, and distance of a place in realizing good health. Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that attacks the lungs which are still become the primary cause of morbidity and mortality in Indonesia, especially in DKI Jakarta. This study aims to analyze the distribution patterns and characteristics of tuberculosis patients in the DKI Jakarta Province in 2017. The variables used in this study include building density, air temperature, distance from the river. The research method uses spatial analysis with overlay techniques and inferential statistical analysis. The distribution pattern of TB sufferers in DKI Jakarta based on the distance between the patients residence it forms a clustered pattern with 1/3 sufferers of the male sex, productive age, normal nutritional status and 2/3 of the sufferer's area in the area around the river. Based on the spatial analysis, there is a uniqueness that TB sufferers do not only occur in high-density buildings, high air temperatures, or areas around rivers. The results of the statistical analysis support this showed no significant correlation between the distribution pattern of tuberculosis sufferers and regional characteristics. As a result, the quality parameters of settlements can be explanatory the characteristics of the TB patient area, where the TB sufferers have no order in the layout of the building, the width of the road is narrow, the existence of trees is inadequate and close to the main road. |
