Abstract
ABSTRAK
Lifts/Elevator are a type of vertical transport that is used to transport people or goods and usually used in high-rise buildings (more than three or four floors). In general, the elevator system is still using conventional system. In conventional elevator systems, there are many things to consider such as component requirements, high power consumption, large rooms, reparation difficulties, energy wastage, and the absence of automatic emergency compliance when disruptions occur. In an effort to reduce the aforementioned things, a system simulation will be designed using PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) as controller of the elevator system such that it will be obtained a system that is more efficient and work automatically. In this research we will design a 4-storey elevator system simulation using a Zelio Logic SR2 B20IJD PLC.
