Jurnal ini membahas keunggulan digital storytelling pada mediaalternatif: Middle East Monitor sebagai upaya contra-flow dalam menyajikanberita krisis pengungsi di eropa. Hasil penelitian menyarankan bahwa digitalstorytelling memiliki keunggulan dalam upaya contra-flow terhadappemberitaan krisis pengungsi yakni memberi pengalaman lebih interaktif terkaitdilema pengungsi di tengah krisis, menarik pembaca untuk mengetahui narasiberita sampai akhir, dan menyajikan berita krisis pengungsi yang relatif sesuaidengan Refugee Reporting Guide dari Ethical Journalism Network. This journal discusses the advantages of digital storytelling onalternative media: Middle East Monitor as a means for contra-flow in presentingnews of the refugee crisis in Europe. The results of the study suggest that thedigital storytelling has an excellence in contra-flow efforts towards thereporting of the refugee crisis which provides more interactive experiencesrelated to refugee dilemmas in the midst of crisis, attracts readers to finish thestory from the feature , present refugee crisis news based on Refugee ReportingGuide from the Ethical Journalism Network. |
