Abstract
Seorang arsitek mempunyai ide dan ekspresi yang dituangkan ke dalam setiap desain bangunan yang dihasilkan, akan tetapi terkadang ide dan ekspresi tersebut jarang bisa dipahami oleh mata orang yang melihatnya, ide dan ekspresi ini juga dapat dikatakan sebagai sebuah tanda pada bangunan arsitektur. Sebuah foto dapat menjadi media komunikasi visual, merepresentasikan suatu objek tiga dimensional menjadi dua dimensional. Dalam skripsi ini akan dibahas bagaimana ekspresi dan ide dari seorang arsitek terhadap bangunannya dan dapat dikomunikasikan melalui foto.
An architect has ideas and expressions poured into every building he design has. However, sometimes those ideas and expressions are seldom understand by the general public who has seen it. These ideas and expressions can also be perceived as a sign on an architectural building. A photograph can become a communication media that represent a three dimensional object into a two dimensional object. This study will discuss how an architects ideas and expressions in his building, can be communicated through a photograph.
