Today, healthcare services such as dental clinics are capable to use ERP systems to facilitate their business activities. Palapa Dentist is one of those dental clinics. Unfortunately, the use of this ERP system still faces several problems related to clinical personnel who use it daily. To solve this problem, a redesign is needed for the ERP system so that it fully satisfies the clinical personnel’s needs. Therefore, a design approach that emphasizes product users as the main determinant of new design success criteria is needed. The design thinking approach was chosen because its user-oriented approach has been proven to create many successful interventions in various forms within healthcare services. By incorporating usability testing and PSSUQ survey as measurement instrument into the stages of design thinking, researchers was able to come up with redesigned ERP system interface that successfully met some of the previously unmet personnel needs and validated its success by proving that efficiency in system usability and user perceived satisfaction of the ERP system had improved. |
