Abstract
Filipina merupakan negara dengan mayoritas penduduk yang menganut agama Katolik konservatif. Tingginya nilai-nilai keagamaan di Filipina mendasari adanya diskriminasi terhadap kaum LGBT. LAGABLAB Network hadir sebagai jaringan advokasi LGBT di Filipina. LAGABLAB Network melakukan upaya-upaya untuk mendorong Senate dan House of Representatives, hingga akhirnya pada tahun 2017 House of Representatives meloloskan SOGIE Bill pada tahap 3rd Reading. Oleh karena itu penulis menggunakan pertanyaan `Bagaimana upaya LAGABLAB Network dalam mendorong disetujuinya SOGIE Bill oleh House of Representatives tahun 2017. Dalam melakukan penelitian, penulis menggunakan teori Aktivisme Politik oleh Pippa Norris dan teori Civil Society dari Larry Diamond.

The Philippines is a country with the majority of people being adherents of conservative Catholicism. The high religious values in the Philippines is the main reason why LGBT people being discriminated. LAGABLAB Network was made as an LGBT advocacy network in the Philippines. LAGABLAB Network is making efforts to encourage the Senate and the House of Representatives, until finally in 2017 the House of Representatives passed the SOGIE Bill in the 3rd Reading. Therefore, the writer uses the question "What is the effort of LAGABLAB Network in encouraging the approval of SOGIE Bill by the House of Representatives in 2017. In conducting research, the author uses Political Activism Theory by Pippa Norris and the Civil Society Theory from Larry Diamond.
