Tahun 2017 merupakan tahun dimana jumlah penduduk dengan status bercerai di Indonesia terbanyak sepanjang beberapa tahun kebelakang dan jumlah ini di proyeksikan akan terus bertambah hingga sepuluh tahun mendatang. Jika jumlah penduduk bercerai terus mengalami peningkatan, bukan tidak mungkin dampak-dampak dari perceraian itu sendiri akan semakin dirasakan baik oleh pasangan yang bercerai maupun pada anggota keluarga lainnya. Menurut Dirjen Badan Peradilan Agama, Mahkamah Agung terdapat tiga belas alasan terjadinya perceraian di Indonesia dimana ke-tiga belas alasan tersebut dikelompokkan menjadi 3 kelompok besar yaitu faktor ekonomi, sosial dan demografi. Pada penelitian ini peneliti akan berfokus pada pengaruh faktor demografi dan ekonomi terhadap status perkawian penduduk di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan data Survei Sosial Ekonomi Nasional tahun 2017 dan dengan menggunakan metode Multinomial Logistic Regression, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa sex ratio secara statistik signifikan mempengaruhi kemungkinan terjadinya cerai baik cerai hidup maupun cerai mati dimana semakin tinggi sex ratio maka kemungkinan terjadinya cerai akan berkurang. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa semakin lama usia perkawinan pasangan maka kemungkinan terjadinya cerai akan meningkat baik cerai hidup maupun cerai mati. Selain melihat pengaruh dari faktor-faktor tersebut pada penduduk secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini juga melihat pengaruh dari faktor-faktor yang ada terhadap penduduk laki-laki dan perempuan secara terpisah. Year 2017 is the year with the largest number of the population with the divorce status in Indonesia for the past few years and this number is projected to continue growing for the next ten years. If the number of divorced population continues to rise, it is not impossible that the effects of divorce itself will significantly impact the divorced couples as well as other family members. According to the Directorate General of Religious Justice Institution of the Supreme Court (Dirjen Badan Peradilan Agama, Mahkamah Agung), there are thirteen reasons of divorce in Indonesia which are classified into three major groups, namely economic, social and demographic factors. In this study, the researcher will focus on the influence of demographic and economic factors on the marital status of the population in Indonesia. By using data from the National Economic Social Survey (Survei Sosial Ekonomi Nasional) of year 2017 and the Multinomial Logistic Regression method, this study concludes that the sex ratio statistically significantly affect the possibility of divorce where the higher the sex ratio, the likelihood of divorce will decrease. This study also shows that the longer the years of marriage, the possibility of divorce will increase. Other than examininbg the influence of these factors on the population as a whole, the study also examines the impacts of existing factors to male and female populations, respectively. |
