Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh ukuran dewan komisaris dan independensi terhadap Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure (CSRD). Sampel penelitian ini adalah 29 Bank yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada 2013-2017. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ukuran dewan komisaris memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap CSRD. Hal ini karena ukuran dewan komisaris yang lebih besar memiliki keterampilan dan keahlian yang lebih besar yang dapat mendorong CSRD. Tetapi penelitian ini tidak dapat membuktikan pengaruh independensi dewan komisaris terhadap CSRD.
This study aims to empirically examine the effect of the size of the board of commissioners and independence of Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure (CSRD). The research sample was 29 banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017. The results showed that the size of the board of commissioners had a positive influence on CSRD. This is because the size of the board of commissioners has greater skills and expertise that can encourage CSRD. But this research cannot prove the influence of the independence of the board of commissioners on CSRD.
