ABSTRAK The history of Liwa Botanical Gardens, was initiated in 2006 following the establishment of West Lampung District as "Coservation Village". Surrounded by conservation areas, local government of West Lampung is responsible to protect the forest resources as well as generate economic development. the presence of Liwa Botanical Gardens is expected to promote economic added value for local community. Strategic planning need to be developed by Liwa Botanical Gardens to anticipate global change. Human resource was played a key role which contribute significantly to the current development of the Liwa Botanical Gardens. |
