ABSTRAK Nepenthes gracilis Korth. is one species of pitcher plant which has potential as a commercial ornamental plant..This species is widespread in Indonesia. Despite their small size, the pitchers are produced in enourmous numbers and mature plants can be very impressive. This species uses peristome, lower lid surface and upper pitcher wall surface to trap the prey. N. gracilis allocates a higher proportion of its nectar production to the lower lid surface. |
