Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap Life Satisfaction pada pekerja garmen di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data yang didapatkan dari tim peneliti aying yang dilakukan oleh Tim Riset Universitas Indonesia (UI), Tufts University (TU) dan Real-Time Analystics (RTA) Vietnam diambil menggunakan metode survey. Sebanyak 2794 pekerja garment yang tersebar pada lima provinsi di Indonesia menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan metode structural equation model (SEM). Hasil group discussion digunakan untuk mendukung hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa psychological empowerment berpengaruh positif terhadap Life Satisfaction serta adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan dari workload terhadap life satisfaction. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa Work-family Conflict tidak memediasi hubungan workload dengan life satisfaction pada pekerja garmen.

This study aims to examine the relationship of psychological empowerment, Workload, Work-family Conflict, and Life Satisfaction on garment workers in Indonesia. Respondents on this study used as many as 2794 garment workers spread across five provinces in Indonesia. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the structural equation model (SEM) method with the LISREL 8.8 application. The results showed that psychological empowerment had a positive effect on life Satisfaction and there was no significant relationship of workload to life satisfaction. In addition, the results of the study also show that Work-family Conflict not  mediates the workload relationship with life satisfaction on garment workers.
