The Research in this thesis examines in detail about Excess Cash in non-financial companies listed in the Indonesian's stock exchange. The uniqueness of investor's reaction to excess cash shows altered results. Additionally, in this study, it was found that excess cash, which is one of the company's growth proxies, empirically showed the positive relationship to liquidity and excess returns to companies in Indonesia. The existence of excess cash in the company can be a positive indicator for investors to have an investment, consequently it could increase the flow of trade, and reduce the liquidity of the company's shares. Furthermore, these conditions can also expect shareholders to obtain higher returns beforehand. Contrariwise, high in the excess cash also can make a disagreement between the manager and shareholders, whether to save the excess in the company or share it with shareholders.
