Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kinerja tenaga teknis museum di seluruh
Indonesia yang dipengaruhi pengetahuan kerja, kepuasan kerja, motivasi, dan
kompetensi. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menemukan bukti empiris
faktor-faktor yang memepengaruhi kompetensi dan kinerja tenaga teknis museum di
seluruh Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan metode survei. Sampel
yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 266 responden. Teknik sampling yang
digunakan adalah purposive convenience sampling. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian
ini menggunakan kuesioner. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik
analisis Partial Least Square. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan
bahwa: 1) kompetensi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja, 2) pengetahuan kerja
berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja, 3) pengetahuan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap
kompetensi, 4) kepuasan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja, 5) kepuasan
berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi, 6) motivasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja,
dan 7) motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi.
The purpose of this research is to describe performance of technical staff museum in Indonesia with job knowledge, satisfaction, motivation, and competency. In addition, this study also aims to find empirical evidence factor - factor that influence competency and performance of technical staff museum in Indonesia. This research is a survey method . The sample used in this study were 266 respondents. Sampling technique used is purposive convenience sampling. As for the collection of data in this study using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square analysis techniques. The result of this research show that : 1) competency had significant effect on performance, 2) Job knowledge had significant effect on performance, 3) Job knowledge had significant effect on competency, 4) Satisfaction had significant effect on performance, 5) Satisfaction had significant effect on competency, 6) Motivation had significant effect on performance, 7) Motivation had significant effect on competency.
