ABSTRACT Corruption is an issue that occurs in every country and is considered to be able to influence economic growth. This study uses panel data to determine the effect of the level of corruption on economic growth with case studies of OIC and non-OIC member countries. The results showed that corruption was able to reduce economic growth. For OIC member countries corruption did not significantly affect economic growth. Whereas for non-OIC member countries, corruption significantly influences economic growth. Therefore, the eradication of corruption needs to be increased as an effort to increase economic growth in both OIC countries and non-OIC countries.
