Abstract
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui peran entrepreneurship terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia dengan menggunakan unit analisis tingkat kabupaten/kota. Ukuran dari entrepreneurship menggunakan konsep dan definisi dari Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) yang diterapkan pada data Survei Angkatan Kerja Nasional (Sakernas) dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS). Metode empiris menggunakan regresi data panel dengan fixed effect model dan periode 2013-2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa entrepreneurship dengan ukuran berbeda akan memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Nascent entrepreneurship belum berdampak terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, sedangkan Owner manager of a new business dan Total Early Stage Entrepreneusrhip Activity berdampak positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi.
ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the role of entrepreneurship on economic growth in Indonesia by using a regency/municipality level analysis unit. The size of entrepreneurship uses the concepts and definitions of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) which is applied to National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The empirical method uses panel data regression with fixed effect models and the period 2013-2018. The results of the study show that entrepreneurship of different sizes will have different effects on economic growth. Nascent entrepreneurship has not had an impact on economic growth, while the Owner manager of a new business and Total Early Stage Entrepreneurship Activity has a positive impact on economic growth.
