GraptopJ^llum pictum (L) GrifT atau Handeuleum telah digunakan oleh rakyat untuk menyembuhkan berbagai penyakit seperti Wazir. Secara ilmiah telah terbukti bahwa handeuleum mengandung^ Alkaloid, Steroid dan tanin. Efek farmakologis terhadap usus marmot percobaan telah menyebabkan pengecilan dari usus yang sedang dalam keadaan vasodilatasi. Percobaan klinis terhadap manusia dan ujia coba toksisitasmenunjukkan gejala keracunan yang rendah. Pada pengamatan ini dicoba membuat sediaan tablet dari infus daun Handeuleum untuk mempermudah penggunaan, dengan dosis yang tepat, dan dapat di simpan lama. Ada enam formula dari infus daun Handeuleum yang telah dipersiapkan dengan mencampur Amilum Manihot serta Amylum Maydis sebagai bahan pengisi tablet. Tiap formula dibuat dengan komposisi pengikat dan penghancur yang berbeda. Sebagai pengikat digunakan CMC, Mucilago Amyli dan dibandingkan dengan formula lain menggunakan aerosil serta tanpa aerosil. Dari kesuluruhan formula dipilih formula yang memberikan hasil terbaik berdasarkan persyaratan farmakope Indonesia edisi III and IV. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut formula yang terbaik adalah formula yang mempunyai komposisi seperti dibawah ini ; amylum manihot sebagai pengisi, inflis kering Handeuleum (28,5%), CMC (2%) , Aerosil(3%), Talc(5%), Nipagin(0,l%), FDC apple green it (1%).
ABSTRACT
Peoples to cure many kind of diseases such as hemorrhoid have usedGraptophyllum pictum (L) griff or Handeuleum. Scientific analysis proved that leave of Handeuleum contains steroid, alkaloid, and tannin. Pharmacolo^cal effect on the intestine of guinea pig showed the reduction of intestine vasodilatation. Clinical trial had been done to Human hemorrhoid, with low toxicity effect. In this research, a trial produces tablet from infuse of Handeuleum leaves to ease the use, accurate dosage and longer to be stored. Six formulations consist of two types of tablet from the Handeuleum infuse either manihot starch and com starch as diluent was prepared. Each type of formulation has been formulated with different composition, binder and disintegrating agent. The tablets are made of CMC, starch solution, with and withoutaerosil. The best result is recorded from each type of formulation, several tests has been done to get the best performance formula to meet the third and the fourth Fcarmakope Indonesia's requirements. The analysis result shows that formula contains manihot starch, dry infuse of Handeuleum (28,5%), CMC (2%), aerosil, talc (5%), nipagin (0,1%) and FDC apple green. It (1%) is the best formula among the others. |
