Dana zakat memiliki potensi besar dalam mengurangi kemiskinan dan ketimpangan pendapatan bila disalurkan dengan maksimal dan mengimplementasikan konsep pemberdayaan mustahik. Perhitungan kemiskinan dan ketimpangan yang digunakan adalah headcount index, poverty gap index, income gap index, Sen index, Foster Greer Thorbecke index, Gini coefficient, Atkinson index dan membuat Lorenz curve. Setelah menganalisa 205 rumah tangga sebagai responden penelitian ini, studi ini menemukan bahwa pemberdayaan mustahik yang dilakukan LAZ Dompet Dhuafa mampu mengurangi kemiskinan sebesar 41,9 persen. Kesenjangan kemiskinan berkurang sebesar Rp 73.780. Selanjutnya kedalaman kemiskinan dapat dikurangi 28,8 persen. Tingkat keterbatasan kesenjangan kemiskinan berkurang sebesar 23 persen dan keparahan kemiskinan berkurang sebesar 25,5 persen. Kemudian, zakat juga mampu meningkatkan pendapatan bulanan rumah tangga sebesar 91,4 persen. Secara umum, keberadaan zakat membantu menurunkan ketimpangan pendapatan 17,7 persen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kehadiran zakat membuat lebih baik income loss responden 38,8 persen
Zakat funds have great potential in reducing poverty and income inequality by maximal distribution and empowerment mustahik`s concept implementation. The data processing model of this research measured by headcount index, poverty gap index, income gap index, Sen index, Foster Greer Thorbecke index, Gini coefficient, Atkinson index and Lorenz curve. After analyzing 205 household as the respondent, this study found Empowering Mustahik`s Role Through Zakat by LAZ DompetDhuafa is able to decrease the poverty incidence of 41.9%. The gap of poverty can be reduced as the poverty gap show can be reductions of Rp. 73,780. The depth of poverty can be reduced as the income gap show the reductions 28.8%. Similarly, the severty of poverty can also be lower as evidenced from 23% increase in the Sen index and 25% increase in the FGT index. Zakat has increased monthly income of the household 91.4%. In general, the presence of zakat helps lower the income inequality an average of 17.7%. The suggest that the presence of zakat has make better the income loss of the respondent of 38.8%. |
