Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk meneliti seruan freedom of speech dalam puisi berjudul Ikhtiyār karya AzzedineMihoubi yang merupakan seorang penyair dan mantan menteri Kebudayaan Aljazair tahun 2015-2019. Puisidigunakan sebagai media menyampaikan pendapat para demonstran sebagai salah satu bentuk kebebasanberpendapat. Akan tetapi seorang demonstran di Aljazair ditangkap sebagai tahanan politik setelah membacakanpuisinya yang berisi kritik kepada pemerintah. Melihat peristiwa penangkapan tersebut, puisi Ikhtiyār menjadimenarik untuk diteliti. Karena puisi tersebut dibuat oleh seorang penyair yang pernah menjabat di pemerintahan.Pemerintahan pada umumnya sering menerima krtik dari rakyatnya sebagai bentuk kebebasan berpendapat danMihoubi menunjukan dukungan atas kebebasan berpendapat melalui puisi Ikhtiyār. Penelitian ini dilakukandengan metode pendekatan kualitatif dan deskriptif berdasarkan teori retorika Arab atau balāgah dan teoriisotopi. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa teori balāgah dan teori isotopi merupakan teori yang tepat untukmelihat seruan dan tema freedom of speech dalam puisi Ikhtiyār. Dalam puisi ini ditemukan banyak seruanfreedom of speech yang ditujukan kepada rakyat Aljazair. Selain ditemukan tema freedom of speech, puisi inijuga terdapat sub-tema perjuangan, persaudaraan setanah air dan musuh negara. This writing aims to examine the call for freedom of speech in the poem entitled Ikhtiyār by AzzedineMihoubi who is a poet and former Minister of Culture of Algeria from 2015-2019. Poetryused as a medium to convey the opinions of the demonstrators as a form of freedomopinion. However, a demonstrator in Algeria was arrested as a political prisoner after readingHis poetry contains criticism of the government. Seeing the events of the arrest, Ikhtiyār's poetry becameinteresting to research. Because the poem was written by a poet who had served in the government.Governments in general often accept criticism from their people as a form of freedom of opinion and expressionMihoubi shows support for freedom of expression through the poem Ikhtiyār. This research was conductedwith a qualitative and descriptive approach based on Arabic rhetoric theory or balāgah and theoreticalisotopy. This research finds that the balāgah theory and the isotopy theory are the right theories forsee the call and theme of freedom of speech in Ikhtiyār's poem. There are many exclamations in this poemfreedom of speech addressed to the people of Algeria. Apart from finding the theme of freedom of speech, this poemThere are also sub-themes of struggle, brotherhood in the country and enemies of the state. |
