Lagu daerah merupakan salah satu bentuk identitas dari daerah tersebut. Dalam geografi, identitas tempat adalah salah satu indikator adanya keterikatan antara manusia dengan suatu tempat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah persepsi dan keterikatan masyarakat rantau NTT terhadap kampung halamannya dipengaruhi oleh lagu daerah. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah kuesioner untuk masyarakat NTT yang merantau. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lagu daerah dirasa menjadi salah satu faktor identitas mereka sebagai masyarakat NTT serta memperkuat persepsi dan rasa keterikatan masyarakat rantau NTT terhadap kampung halamannya. Masyarakat rantau NTT memiliki persepsi bahwa kampung halamannya lebih baik daripada tanah rantau karena rasa kekeluargaan, persaudaraan dan sikap toleransi yang tinggi di kampung halaman kurang mereka dapatkan di tanah rantau. Disisi lain, lagu daerah memperkuat rasa keterikatan masyarakat rantau NTT terhadap kampung halamannya. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan perasaan bangga dan rindu kampung halaman ketika mereka mendengar atau menyanyikan lagu daerah di perantauan. Kesimpulannya, lagu daerah adalah salah satu faktor yang menjadi identitas masyarakat rantau NTT serta memperkuat persepsi dan place attachment mereka terhadap kampung halamannya. Folk songs are a form of identity from the region. In geography, place identity is one indicator of an attachment between humans and a place. This study aims to determine whether the perceptions and attachments of the NTT overseas community to their hometowns are influenced by folk songs. The method used for data collection was a questionnaire for NTT people who had migrated. The analysis used is descriptive analysis. The results showed that the folk song was felt to be one of the factors of their identity as the people of NTT and strengthened the perception and sense of attachment of the NTT overseas community to their hometown. The people of foreigners in NTT have the perception that their hometowns are better than their homeland because of the feeling of kinship, brotherhood and a high attitude of tolerance in their hometowns they do not get in the overseas lands. On the other hand, the folk song strengthens the sense of attachment of the NTT overseas community to their hometown. This is evidenced by feelings of pride and homesickness when they hear or sing folk songs overseas. In conclusion, folk song is one of the factors that has become the identity of the people of foreigners in NTT and strengthens their perception and place of attachment to their hometown. |
