The Coronavirus Disease 2019 has caused pandemic with the spread and increase in the number of COVID-19 cases occurring rapidly in various regions throughout the world, including Indonesia. Purwokerto Selatan Sub-District is the area with the highest COVID-19 cases in Banyumas District as of March 31, 2021 as many as 805 cases, 28 deaths and a CFR rate of 3.47%. In order to support efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19, it is necessary to have an overview of areas prone to an increase in COVID-19 cases and deaths. However, the description of the COVID-19 vulnerability zone based on risk factors has not been carried out, so regional references in preventing COVID-19-prone areas cannot be carried out. This study aims to determine the correlation, spatial relationship of risk factors with the incidence of COVID-19 and determine the COVID-19 vulnerability zone based on risk factors through a GIS approach. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with an ecological study approach. The population and sample of the study were COVID-19 cases recorded in Purwokerto Selatan Sub-District in 2020. The results showed that poverty (p-value = 0.034 r = 0.791) significantly affected the number of COVID-19 cases and had a very strong relationship. The number of households using public sanitation (p-value = 0.094; r = 0.679) and the coverage of PHBS households (p-value = 0.251; r = 0.502) did not significantly affect, but there was a strong relationship with the number of COVID-19 cases, and population density were not significantly related (p-value = 0.658). Spatially there is a relationship between the number of COVID-19 cases and poverty and households using public sanitation. The high-risk zone for the increase in COVID-19 in Purwokerto Selatan Sub-District, namely Teluk and Karangklesem village. The need for prevention and intervention efforts are focused on areas with high vulnerability zones and areas with high poverty levels. |
