Pengeroyokan pelaku balap liar terhadap polisi, ditengarai oleh kurang aktifnya dukungan masyarakat terhadap pelaksanaan tugas Polri di lapangan. Hal ini mengindikasikan praktek pemolisian masyarakat untuk pengamanan wilayah tersebut belum optimal. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan evaluasi pengamanan pelaku balap liar yang ada di lingkungan masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis implementasi pengamanan Polri pada kasus balap liar, dan membuat design pengamanan kasus balap liar di Jalan TB Simatupang, Cilandak Barat, wilayah hukum Polres Metro Jakarta Selatan.Teori yang dipergunakan adalah teori penegakan hukum, teori pemolisian masyarakat, teori pemolisian prediktif, dan teori pencegahan kejahatan situasional. Metode penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan kulitatif, dengan teknik pengambilan data secara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi data.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pengamanan balap liar dilakukan melalui langkah-langkah penanganan yang bersifat konvensional, yang mana langkah penanganan ini dinilai belum mampu diterapkan untuk melakukan pencegahan kejahatan pengeroyokan kepada polisi yang bertugas di lapangan di masa depan. Desain pencegahan kasus pengeroyokan polisi yang melakukan penanganan kasus balap liar di Jalan TB Simatupang, diketahui memiliki banyak kelemahan, khususnya belum sesuai dengan SOP pengamanan dan pengendalian massa di lapangan dan belum menerapkan desain pencegahan kejahatan The beating of the perpetrators of illegal racing against the police is suspected to be due to the lack of active community support for the implementation of Polri's duties in the field. This research method is carried out through a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques by interview, observation and data documentation.The results of this study indicate that the security of illegal racing is carried out through conventional handling measures, which are considered unable to be applied to prevent the crime of beating the police on duty in the field in the future. The design of preventing cases of beatings by the police who handled cases of illegal racing on Jalan TB Simatupang, is known to have many weaknesses, in particular it is not in accordance with the SOP for security and crowd control in the field and has not implemented a crime prevention design. |
