Penerapan Kombinasi Terapi Musik dan Aromaterapi dalam Mengurangi Rasa Nyeri pada Pasien Karsinoma Lidah. Karsinoma sel skuamosa (KSS) lidah merupakan salah satu keganasan rongga mulut yang paling umum terjadi. Kondisi ini tidak mudah dideteksi pada tahap awal, serta manifestasi klinis yang biasanya tidak terlihat, namun nyeri menjadi salah satu gejala yang paling umum yang dirasakan pasien. Tujuan penelitian: Karya tulis ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keefektifan intervensi kombinasi terapi musik dan aromaterapi lavender pada pasien KSS lidah yang mengalami rasa nyeri. Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam karya ilmiah ini berupa laporan kasus terkait intervensi terapi musik dan aromaterapi lavender berupa reed diffuser yang diberikan kepada pasien selama 3 hari. Diskusi: Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi terapi musik dan aromaterapi lavender mampu mengurangi rasa nyeri pada pasien kanker dengan keluhan nyeri. Penurunan tingkat nyeri yang dialami oleh pasien terukur dari skala VAS 7 menjadi skala VAS 3, serta perubahan respon nyeri non-verbal dan parameter fisiologis. Kesimpulan: Kombinasi terapi musik dan aromaterapi lavender direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan oleh pasien dan keluarga dalam mengontrol rasa nyeri secara mandiri di rumah. The Application of Music Therapy and Aromatherapy Combination to Reduce Pain in Tongue Carcinoma Patient. Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of tongue is one of the most common oral malignancies. This condition is not easily detected in its early stages, and the clinical manifestations are usually not visible, but pain is one of the most common symptoms experienced by patient. Objective: The purposeof this work was to analyze the effectiveness of a combination intervention of music therapy and lavender aromatherapy in patient with tongue SCC who experiences pain. Methods: The method used is a case report related to music therapy intervention and lavender aromatherapy in the form of a reed diffuser given to patient for 3 days. Discussion: This study shows that the combination of music therapy and lavender aromatherapy in cancer patient with pain can reduce the patient's pain. The decrease in pain level experienced by patient was measured from the VAS 7 scale to the VAS 3 scale, as well as changes in non-verbal pain responses and physiological parameters. Conclusion: The combination of music therapy and lavender aromatherapy is recommended to be applied by the patient and family in controlling pain independently at home. |
