Tujuan utama dari studi ini yakni untuk menganalisa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perusahasan perusahaan yang terdaftar di Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Studi ini akan dilakukan dengan menggunaakan procedur data panel dan program yang akan digunakan yaitu Stata 16. Di dalam studi ini terdapat 139 perusahaan yang telah terdaftar du IDX selama 20 tahun, yakni dari tahun 2000 sampai dengan tahun 2019. Terdapat lima variabel utama yang akan difokuskan dalam faktor yang mempengaruhi struktur modal suatu perusahaan; SIZE, Return On Assets, Sales Growth, Assets Growth, and Net Profit Margin. Selain itu, studi ini juga akan menganalisa bagaiman setiap variabel secara bersamaan mempengaruhi struktur modal suatu perusahaan. Indonesia, pada masa kepemimpinan Jokowi telah mengalami pertumbuhan ekonomi yang semakin membaik. Oleh karena itu, studi ini juga akan berfokus pada 2 jenis periode; sebelum dan sesudah Jokowi menjadi Presiden Indonesia. Periode yang dipilih adalah periode sebelum kepemimpinan Jokowi pada tahun 2000-2013, dan setelah kepemimpinan Jokowi pada tahun 2014-2019. Hasil penelitian ini, menggunakan metode regresi, menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing variabel memiliki pengaruh yang berbeda tergantung pada periode yang dipilih. The purpose of this study is to analyze what factors influence public companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses a panel data analysis procedure (fixed effect model) with Stata 16 software where the sample taken consists of 139 companies listed on the IDX for the period 2000 – 2019 or 20 years. There are five variables used as determinants of the capital structure used, namely SIZE, Return On Assets, Sales Growth, Assets Growth, and Net Profit Margin. This study wants to know how all variables simultaneously affect the capital structure in. Indonesia as a country experiencing economic growth is currently led by President Jokowi since 2014. This study divides two types of time periods to see the impact of Jokowi's rise as President with policies that focus on investment and development. The period chosen is the period before Jokowi's ruling in 2000-2013, and after Jokowi's ruling in 2014-2019. The results of this study indicate that each variable has a different impact depending on the selected time period for the regression. |
