Berdasarkan catatan WHO per Mei 2021, setidaknya ada 115.000 tenaga kesehatan yang meninggal dunia akibat infeksi virus corona. Tenaga Kesehatan sebagai garda terdepan, merupakan faktor terpenting dalam upaya penanganan COVID-19. Berbagai penelitian menunjukan, diperlukannya sistem reward khusus untuk tenaga kesehatan sebagai bentuk apresiasi atas etos kerja yang diberikan. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang peran organisasi dan kepimpinan dalam memberikan bentuk reward kepada tenaga kesehatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review dengan basis data Google Scholar, Remote Lib UI dan PubMed. Hasil pencarian didapat 10 literatur berasal dari China, AS, Eropa, Afrika, England, Italy, Indonesia yang telah melakukan penelitian terkait reward yang dapat diberikan untuk tenaga kesehatan selama masa pandemi COVID-19. Hasil telaah literatur menunjukan peran organisasi dan pemimpin dalam menganalisis bentuk reward yang diberikan yaitu mengenai kesehatan mental, finansial dan reward lainnya yang mendukung kebutuhan tenaga kesehatan. Penulis melakukan analisis kebijakan reward ini agar dapat digunakan oleh organisasi atau fasilitas kesehatan di Indonesia dalam memberikan gambaran reward yang tepat untuk diberikan sesuai dengan kebutuhan tenaga kesehatan selama masa pandemi COVID-19, namun perlu dilakukan penelitian lanjutan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas reward, agar lebih representatif.
Based on WHO records as of May 2021, at least 115,000 health workers have died due to corona virus infection. Health workers, as the frontline, are the most important factor in efforts to deal with COVID-19. Various studies show the need for a special reward system for health workers as a form of appreciation for the work ethic given. This paper aims to provide knowledge about the role of organizations and leadership in providing a form of reward to health workers. This study uses a literature review method with Google Scholar, Remote Lib UI and PubMed databases. The search results obtained 10 literatures from China, the US, Europe, Africa, England, Italy, Indonesia which have conducted research related to rewards that can be given to health workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of the literature review show the role of organizations and leaders in analyzing the form of rewards given, namely mental health, financial and other rewards that support the needs of health workers. The author analyzes this reward policy so that it can be used by organizations or health facilities in Indonesia in providing the right description of rewards to be given according to the needs of health workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, but further research needs to be done to determine the effectiveness of rewards, to make them more representative. |
