Abstract
Dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang gambaran kinerja perawat pelaksana dan faktor paling dominan yang berhubungan dengan kinerja perawat pelaksana dilaksanakan penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan desain Cross sectional, terhadap 102 orang perawat pelaksana di RS Jiwa Makassar dari tanggal 23 - 28 Mei 2001. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa hanya variabel motivasi yang mempunyai hubungan yang bermakna secara statistik dengan kinerja perawat pelaksana.

The result indicated that statistically only variable of motivation that had significant connection with the work performance of nurses.
