Saat ini pembangunan kesehatan gigi dan mulut telah berjalan dengan baik, meskipun belum mencapai hasil yang optimal.Dampak krisis moneter berpengaruh besar terhadap pelayanan kesehatan gigi dan mulut dimana sebagian besar peralatan, bahan material dan obat-obatan adalah import sehingga harganyapun semakin mahal dan kemampuan masyarakat untuk membelipun berkurang.Pelayanan kesehatan gigi dan mulut melalui klinik gigi spesialistik swasta adalah pelayanan yang diharapkan oleh masyarakat disamping pelayanan melalui rumah sakit dan puskesmas.Klink gigi spesialistik swasta diharapkan dapat memberikan pilihan kepada masyarakat untuk mendapatkan pelayanan yang lebih efektif dan tepat sesuai dengan kasus yang dideritanya, dan juga dapat meningkatkan pemanfaatan tenaga dokter gigi dan dokter gigi spesialis untuk memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat.Analisis biaya pada bagian konservasi klinik spesialistik "x" belum pernah dilakukan sehingga penetapan tarif belum berdasarkan pada biaya satuan.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui total biaya, biaya satuan aktual dan normatif, crr, wtp dan tarif pesaing. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dan metode analisis biaya yang digunakan adalah metode activity based costing (abc) untuk menghitung biaya satuan. Data yang diperlukan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa biaya satuan aktual untuk golongan restorasi plastis adalah rp.191.330 ; untuk golongan perawatan endo rp.227.553; untuk golongan restorasi non plastis rp. 379.960 ; konsultasi rp.66.677; polishing Rp 44.807.Secara umum cost recovery rate (crr) pada bagian konservasi ini berada di bawah 100% kecuali untuk golongan restorasi non plastis yang mempunyai crr di atas 100%. Bila dibandingkan dengan tarif pesaing, terlihat bahwa tarif yang berlaku saat ini di bagian konservasi klinik gigi spesialistik "x'' ini cukup rendah, sehingga klinik ini masih mempunyai kesempatan untuk menaikkan tariff pelayanan.Perhitungan crr dengan melihat tarif saat ini, utilisasi, tarif pesaing, tarif simulasi dan kemauan membayar (wtp) pengunjung, terlihat bahwa pada golongan restorasi plastis untuk mencapai crr > 100% yaitu pada saat tarif dinaikkan menjadi Rp 200.000,00 dari tariff saat ini yaitu Rp.150.000,00, untuk perawatan endo crr >100% pada saat tarif dinaikkan menjadi Rp. 230.000,00Dari hasil penelitian tersebut disarankan bagi klinik untuk mempertimbangkan investasi alat baru agar dapat mempertahankan kualitas pelayanan yang dapat mempengaruhi perhitungan tarif disamping itu perlu pertimbangan untuk menetapkan tarif baru sesuai dengan biaya satuan yang ada dan peningkatan crr untuk setiap jenis pelayanan yang ada di bagian konservasi.Daftar Kepustakaan : 23 (1997 - 2002).
Price Setting For Dental Conservation Services In Dental Specialist Clinic"X", Year 2002 Dental care services has been growing significantly, although has not reached it?s optimum result.The economic crisis has greatly affected the provision of dental care where most of the equipments, raw materials and drugs required for the provision of the service are imported hence affecting the cost of services whilst the purchasing power of the public tend to decrease.The provision of dental care by private dental specialist clinics are available for the public as alternative services.It is expected that private dental specialist clinic could provide services for the public more effective and appropriate treatment and on the other hand give more opportunities for the dentists and dental specialist to provide better services.The cost analysis of the service and price setting for the dental conservation service in dental specialist clinic "x" has never been conducted before, no unit cost estimation ever been done.This research was conducted to estimate the total cost, the actual an normative unit cost, cost recovery rate, willingness to pay as well as price of the competitors services. This research is a descriptive research and the method of cost analysis used is the activity based costing (abc).The study employed both primary and secondary data. The result of the research shows that the actual unit cost for plastic restoration service is Rp 191,330 ; endodontic treatment service is Rp 227,543 ; non plastic restoration service is Rp 379,960 ; consultation Rp 66,677 ; polishing Rp 44,807.In general, the cost recovery rate (crr) of the dental conservation service is less than i00% except for non plastic restoration service where the crr is higher than 100%.If we compare with the price of competitor's service, it is obvious that the current price of the dental restoration service in dental specialist clinic "x"is relatively lower and need to be adjusted.In based on the crr calculation, current utilization, price of competitor's service, simulation on price and the patient's willingnes to pay (wtp), it is apparent that for the dental plastic restoration service to achieve a sufficient crr the price need to increase to Rp 200,000. From the current price of Rp 150,000.For endodontic services, to achieve crr greater than 100% the price need to be increased to Rp 230,000.The study suggested to consider a new adjusted price based on actual will cost.
