| This article explains a definition from linguistics' point of view. Some linguists give a different definition of information. There are three definitions like nominal definition, formal definition and operational definition. At the nominal definition, information is the meaning of something that makes someone wise, and at the operational definition, information is something that starts from event and then becomes a sign, data and finally becomes information. The assumption of this article is that information in linguistics has an important linguistics treats the information as a whole of meaning which is shared from speaker to the audience. |
