| The World Social Forum (WSF), a gathering forum for civil society groups and social movements, held it's 3"' meeting at Porto Alegre, Brasil on January 23-28, 2003. The forum itself is known for its deep commitment towards building a world community based on good relationship between human and the environment. This paper is a reflection of the writers experience on that forum and will review of the history, goals and organisation of the WSF and its relevance to the social movements in Indonesia.
