In globalization there are the development of education that is in line economic development. The influence of economic capitalism created the idea that competition is geared towards destroying each other. The motivation to collect wealth, individualism and unhealthy competition are converted into greed. The gaps between winners and the lowers are widened.It is the role of universities to cope with the challenging issue of social ethics as there impacts of globalization. University has been oriented towards economic means without meeting the needs of the society. The universities are further away from moral education. Universities have to educate not only experts and siklled laborers, but also thinkers who are concerned with the whole problem of the society. |
