Retorika dalam struktur pidato Emmanuel Macron pada Pemilihan Umum Presiden 2017 = Rhetoric in the structure of Emmanuel Macron's speech in the Presidential Election 2017

Pemilihan umum presiden 2017 merupakan sebuah peristiwa yang penting dalam sejarah Prancis dengan kemenangan Presiden termuda, yaitu Emmanuel Macron. Artikel ini membahas mengenai pidato Emmanuel Macron yang berhasil meyakinkan rakyat Prancis memilihnya sebagai Presiden 2017. Data dianalisis dengan cara membedah struktur kalimat, dan prinsip retorika dalam pidato kampanye Macron di Paris pada tanggal 24 April 2017. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperlihatkan hubungan antara struktur kalimat yang dan prinsip retorika yang digunakan oleh Macron dalam pidato pemilihannya sebagai Presiden 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif oleh Creswell (2013) dengan studi kepustakaan. Teori Le Querler (1994) digunakan untuk membedah struktur sintaksis dan teori retorika oleh Fromilhague (2010) untuk membedah diksi dalam setiap kalimat pidato. Dari 50 data ditemukan bahwa kalimat dominan pada pidato Emmanuel Macron adalah les phrases complexes diantara nya 20 La Phrase Complexes subordonnée, 10 La Phrase complexe juxtaposée, 14 La Phrase composée coordonée dan 6 Les phrases simple. Adapun kalimat dominan yaitu Les phrases complexes subordonné untuk memberikan perluasan melalui informasi yang disampaikan. Fungsi kalimat sintaksis juga berpengaruh dalam penggunaan prinsip retorika untuk memberikan penjelasan lebih mendetail di dalam setiap kalimatnya. The 2017 presidential election was a landmark event in French history with the victory of the youngest President, Emmanuel Macron. This article discusses Emmanuel Macron's speech that successfully convinced the French people to elect him as President in 2017. The data is analyzed by dissecting the sentence structure, and rhetorical principles in Macron's campaign speech in Paris on April 24, 2017. This research aims to show the relationship between the sentence structure and rhetorical principles used by Macron in his election speech as President in 2017. This research uses the qualitative method by Creswell (3013) with a literature study. Le Querler's theory (1994) was used to dissect the syntactic structure and Fromilhague's theory of rhetoric (2010) to dissect the diction in each sentence of the speech. From 50 data, it is found that the dominant sentences in Emmanuel Macron's speeches are les phrases complexes, including 20 les phrases complexes subordonnée, 10 les phrases complexe juxtaposée, 14 les phrases composée coordonée and 6 les phrases simple. The dominant sentence is Les phrases complexes subordonné to provide expansion through the information conveyed. The syntactic sentence function also influences the use of rhetorical principles to provide a more detailed explanation in each sentence. |
