Pada era digitalisasi perbankan, jumlah pegawai perbankan dari tahun ke tahun semakin menyusut seiring dengan perkembangan digitalisasi dan semakin berkurangnya jumlah jaringan kantor bank. Pengurangan pegawai di sektor perbankan akan berdampak pada kinerja pegawai karena jumlah pekerjaan yang tidak proporsional dengan jumlah pegawai yang ada. Employee performance merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam mencapai tingkat produktivitas yang baik dalam perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai pegawai perbankan di Indonesia. Data empiris dikumpulkan dari 207 pegawai bank konvensional dengan menggunakan metode survei online. Analisis dalam penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) untuk menguji hipotesis yang diajukan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bagaimana workload dan job stress berpengaruh secara negatif terhadap employee performance, serta bagaimana job satisfaction berpengaruh secara positif terhadap employee performance. Dari hasil penelitian juga didapatkan hasil bahwa workload dan job stress berpengaruh secara negatif terhadap job satisfaction, dengan demikian didapatkan juga kesimpulan bahwa job satisfaction berhasil memediasi hubungan workload dan job stress terhadap employee performance. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian ini akan memberikan kontribusi bagi sektor perbankan dalam mencegah terjadinya job stress yang dialami pegawai untuk meningkatkan employee performance bank konvensional. In the era of banking digitalization, the number of banking employees has decreased from year to year in line with developments in digitalization and the reduced number of bank office networks. Reducing employees in the banking sector will have an impact on employee performance because the number of jobs is disproportionate to the number of existing employees. Employee performance is an important factor in achieving a good level of productivity in a company. Therefore, this study aims to determine the factors that influence the performance of banking employees in Indonesia. Empirical data were collected from 207 conventional bank employees using the online survey method. Analysis method in this study is done by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the proposed hypotheses. The results of this study show how workload and job stress negatively effects employee performance, and job satisfaction positively effects employee performance. The results also found that workload and job stress negatively effects job satisfaction. Furthermore, the results also indicate that job satisfaction mediates the effect of workload and job stress on employee performance. Overall, the results of this study will contribute to the banking sector in preventing job stress experienced by employees in order to improve employee performance in conventional banks. |
