Tulisan ini membahas mengenai pengaplikasian metode analogi yang perkenalkan oleh Itkonen (2005) untuk melihat persamaan proses sistem dalam dua kasus yaitu Witch Hunt di Salem, Massachusetts dan JusticeForAudrey di Twitter. Hasilnya adalah dengan memakai prototipe analogi, kedua kasus ini bisa dianalogikan yang artinya kasus JusticeForAudrey sama dengan Witch Hunt Salem, dengan memakai function yang sama pada setiap sistem yaitu function accused, accuser, moral panic dan law enforcer. Tujuannya adalah untuk melihat bagaimana manusia mempunyai pola perilaku yang sama dari waktu ke waktu meskipun dengan jarak dan periode yang berbeda.
This paper discusses the application of the analogy method introduced by Itkonen (2005) to see the similarity of system processes in two cases, namely Witch Hunt in Salem, Massachusetts and JusticeForAudrey on Twitter. The result is by using an analogy prototype, these two cases can be analogized, which means that the JusticeForAudrey case is the same as Salem's Witch Hunt, broadly speaking they are the same in terms of the spread of false accusations that can harm the person accused. The equation is analyzed by using the same function on each system, namely the function accused, accuser moral panic and law enforcer. The aim is to see how humans have the same behavior patterns from time to time even though at different distances and periods. |
